Tracey Bellamy is chief engineering officer with Telgian Corporation and has over 30 years of experience in fire protection engineering. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina holding undergraduate and master’s degrees in civil engineering. Bellamy also holds the inaugural Advanced Graduate Certificate in Fire Protection Engineering from WPI. Bellamy serves on several NFPA committees, including NFPA 13, 15, 16, 25, 30, 30B, 101, and 5000, and is currently chair for NFPA 15. He is a major contributor to the NFPA 13 and 25 Handbooks and holds professional engineering licenses in Fire Protection and Civil Engineering in 49 of the 50 states and all the U.S. territories. He is a Certified Fire Protection Specialist, a Certified Water-Based Systems Professional, and an active member of AFSA, NFPA, and SFPE.
