Description
Distilleries are popping up everywhere. The protection of these occupancies is challenging since NFPA 13 and Factory Mutual (FM) do not have specific design criteria for their protection. Performance-based measures and the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (DISCUS) manual are the primary resources used to develop fire protection requirements. This seminar will review the sprinkler protection options for various distillery configurations including barrel storage and the challenges with combining tote storage with barrel storage.
