Description
This class offers a comprehensive overview of dry sprinklers, covering essential topics such as functionality, uses, and the intricacies of drainage and proper fitting use. Participants will learn how to properly install, uninstall, and measure dry sprinklers. The class will cover how to determine minimum barrel length to prevent freeze-ups when installing dry sprinklers in wet systems and some of the advantages flexible dry sprinklers can provide in these applications. Finally, the course will address important NFPA 13 updates to dry sprinklers in the 2016 through 2025 editions, ensuring that attendees are well-versed in the latest codes and best practices.
Upon completion of this seminar, attendees will be able to:

- Recognize the correct fittings to use with dry sprinklers and how to install them.
