Description
This presentation will discuss the revisions that were made to the 2026 edition of NFPA 25, Standard for the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems. After a brief overview of the NFPA standard development process, the presentation will review the important changes made to the document during the first and second draft, including insights into the technical committee’s intent through discussions during the meeting.
Upon completion of this seminar, attendees will be able to:
- Describe the NFPA standard development process.
- Identify important first and second revisions made to the document.
- Determine the next steps to participate in the next stage of the revision cycle.
