This seminar details the requirements for the inspections, testing, and maintenance of water-based fire protection systems. This seminar will summarize the layout and significant provisions of the NFPA 25, Standard for the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-based Fire Protection Systems. The content will include the identification of noncritical and critical deficiencies, emergency and preplanned impairments. Specific topics will consist of the ITM of sprinkler systems, common components, valves, private fire service mains, standpipe, hose systems, and fire pumps. Obstruction investigation, internal inspection, and impairment requirements will also be identified.
