Description
Fabricators and suppliers need organized data to deliver fabrication and material for successful and profitable piping installation from the sprinkler fitter. This presentation outlines the challenges and basic requirements of creating a solid stock list. The following items will be reviewed from the perspective of a designer: 1) digital and informal stocklists; 2) pitfalls and how to avoid them; and 3) project-specific information to consider when generating stocklists.
Upon completion of this seminar, attendees will be able to:
- Identify key steps for completing detailed fabrication and material stocklists.
- Describe what is needed on stocklists to maximize the productivity of the sprinkler fitter.
