Description

In this seminar, we will look into some of the design criteria and standards used to help with local application designs of hybrid fire extinguishing systems. We will look at some of the applications for these systems and some of the areas where they may not be the best choices for this type of system. We will review some of the hidden hazards with local applications and some of the benefits of a total flooding system and include requirements per manufacturer guidelines and performance-based designs.

Upon completion of this seminar, attendees will be able to:

  • Describe hazards to consider, design criteria, obstructions to discharge nozzles, and design methods.
  • Identify where this type of design application works best and for what type of hazards.
