Description
This presentation will discuss the revisions made to the 2023 edition of the NFPA 25 Standard for the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems. After a brief overview of the NFPA standard development process, the presentation will review the important changes made to the document during the first and second drafts, including insights into the technical committee’s discussions during the meeting and intent.
Upon completion of this seminar, attendees will be able to:
- Determine the qualifications for a competent person
- Identify updated frequencies for the testing of sprinklers
- Identify new requirements for the testing and inspection of fire pumps
