Description
This course will detail the process for updating and changing NFPA codes and standards. This course will discuss what it takes to submit and accept public and technical committee input. Specific topics will include revision frequencies, technical committees, development, first and second revision cycles.
At the completion of this presentation, you should be able to:
- Understand and apply the hierarchy of codes and standards.
- Identify the different stages in the standard development process.
- Understand how to propose a change to codes and standards.
